This cult has no shame in its criminal activity...WT directs elders to wipe-out, erase and eliminate any CSA evidence and paper trail! Paragraph 5 on 1st page of Information Worksheet says as follows:
"5. Once the service department sends final direction on the matter to the body of elders, all copies of this worksheet (printed or electronic) should be destroyed. Do not retain any copies of this worksheet in the congregation file or elsewhere."
i got the internet in my house and realised it's all lies....but as a pioneer/ministerial servant i chose to fade.
see i had family and friends who were fully strict witnesses.
so i played the poor lost soul brother who is not sure what's happening.
Different strokes for different folks! Each XJW will exit this toxic cult in a way that best suits his needs. For me it's been a definite hard fade, maintaining a low profile. I'm shunned by those I choose to be shunned by...if that makes sense! I'm happy & content with life & the relationships I have.

Seems like WT is just gathering information to add to its already existing large CSA Data Base...and in the process shooting itself in the proverbial foot...yet again!
a relative sent me yesterday's wt study article 46, how jehovah guarantees his promise of paradise.. it's been a long time since i read one of those articles but what really struck me about this one is that, considering it's discussing a fundamental jw belief, it only mentions jesus twice as an aside, and not at all as the central figure like the bible does.
it actually mentions satan far more in the same article!.
i don't remember this discrepancy from my time in the org 15 years ago.
JWs have for decades & decades only given Jesus Christ token service. They're hung-up on the hybrid name 'Jehovah' & have been what seems like forever. Also noteworthy, for the past couple of years they've emphasized the word 'Organization' more and more as well as the GB Meatheads who run this organization.
But as far as the main character in the Christian Greek Scriptures (New Testament) Jesus Christ...Kerry King is spot on ...J. C. as far as JWs are concerned will continue to occupy a back seat...he's just not relevant at this time in Watchtower world!

Last week's mid-week meeting nearly 50 participants on zoom...only one participant (a elderly sister & her husband) camera was on...otherwise all other cameras were off! Of those 50 participants on zoom 5 were elders & their wives & all their cameras were dark/off...go figure!

For an American based religion with headquarters in the USA & only 1,233,609 JWs...that's a pretty sad commentary for this cult. Less than 14% of the JWs are in the USA! Even sadder is that roughly 300,000 (estimate) of the 1,233,609 figure are under 16 years old.

this topic i digress about why the watchtower relaxing the rules of disfellowship is essential for its survival.
many things i'm going to say are not my ideas, some are, the point is, i'm condensing everything in a logical and concise way.. the first thing we have to keep in mind is that the wt's main objective in instituting disfellowship has always been not to lose members because of the damage that a dissident could do, or to avoid gaining new members because of the bad reputation of a confessed sinner in the his/her region.
in the end, the more active members, the more money to the coffers.. in this case of disfellowship due to apostasy, to avoid any spark, texts were sought out of context that even prohibited saying "hi".
The WTBTS has been in survival mode for quite some time...many years now. 'Mother' is going to continue to soften on many of its rigid unscriptural doctrines/teachings in order to carry on. Me says 'Mother's Day' & others, such like birthdays will be on the chopping block soon. Eventually a lightening up on disfellowshipping & shunning will follow. But, it's all too little too late!
